Our Client: 701 Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian family owned waste management company, renowned for operating Queensland’s only high-temperature incineration facility. With over three decades of experience, our client specialises in the safe handling, transport, and disposal of hazardous and biosecurity-sensitive waste, servicing a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, laboratories, and aged care. The Role: We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join the fleet team based at the Willawong facility. This role involves daily local runs, collecting clinical and hazardous waste from hospitals, aged care homes, medical clinics, and similar facilities. Drivers are assigned to consistent runs and company vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Operate company-branded trucks to perform scheduled waste collection routes. Ensure safe and compliant handling of hazardous and clinical waste materials. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to ensure timely service delivery. What We’re Looking For A valid MR licence or higher (HR/HC/MC). A Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence or willingness to obtain. Biosecurity Awareness training or willingness to complete. Strong reliability and a professional attitude. Commitment to safety protocols and customer service. Current Police clearance or the ability to obtain. Please note: Occasional travel outside of the SEQ region may be required.
