The role An exciting opportunity awaits a business-driven and personable individual to join our Sales team! As the Sales Executive – Weddings & Social Events, you will be leading this market segment in driving maximum sales while also spearheading business development and account management. We are seeking someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and excelling at building strong relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the sales of events and accommodation packages within Crown’s diverse collection events spaces and hotels. In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as: Provide exceptional customer service and serve as the primary contact for key clients throughout the event sales and planning cycle Identify and pursue new business/market opportunities and sales strategies whilst continuously strengthening existing relationships Proactively work towards achieving targets and maximising profitability by upselling Crown’s venues and product packages, while managing billing and accounts Manage all communications with clients, suppliers, and internal departments for each account/booking including site inspections, proposals, contracting, and facilitating handovers to operations teams About you You'll bring the following Proven experience in an Event Sales role with a desire to build a long-term career – highly desirable A genuine passion for events & delivering exceptional guest experiences Highly skilled in developing lasting and meaningful relationships Strong business acumen, time management, attention to detail & negotiation skills Is adaptable in high pressure situations and open to change if the business requires Strong computer literacy skills including strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
