HR Administrator — Bairnsdale, East Gippsland

We are currently seeking a HR Administrator to support our HR team based in Bairnsdale. This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. This is an opportunity with full-time hours, providing hands-on administrative support to the HR team during a busy period. You’ll be reporting directly to a senior HR officer and will play a vital role in keeping processes running smoothly. For the right candidate, there is potential for ongoing or permanent employment. Position Overview The successful candidate will be expected to complete a range of manual and repetitive administrative tasks, manage documents and files across systems, and create content for internal communication. You’ll need to be confident using a variety of software tools and capable of taking instruction and running with it. Key Responsibilities Carrying out manual administrative tasks including file management and record keeping Saving and organising documents across multiple systems and locations Creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs Assisting with PowerPoint presentations for internal communication Responding promptly to requests from the HR team and completing delegated tasks accurately Supporting with ad-hoc HR administrative duties as required About You To succeed in this role, you will: Be confident using technology and working across various software platforms Know your way around Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Be smart, quick to pick up new tasks, and able to work independently after initial training Take direction well and follow through on instructions without constant supervision Be detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in your work approach What We Offer A supportive and focused team environment Full-time hours with the potential to convert to a permanent role The opportunity to build your HR administration experience Immediate start in a well-located Bairnsdale office How to Apply All applications MUST be received via the GBS Recruitment website (www.gbsrecruitment.com.au), Job 944735 and include a cover letter outlining your experience.
