About the Role: As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in maximising sales, occupancy rates, and average room rates while positioning Rydges Campbelltown as a market leader in accommodation, conferences, and F&B services. Working closely with the General Manager and existing sales team, you will craft and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to secure new business and retain existing accounts, ensuring revenue growth across all segments. Your Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration. Identify and secure new business opportunities whilst building and nurturing strategic relationships with long-term key accounts to drive repeat business, maximise revenue streams, and achieve financial targets. Together with our C&E Sales Manager, drive innovation in Conference & Events, positioning the hotel as the go-to destination for corporate events, social gatherings and weddings. Foster strong relationships with TMCs, PCOs, venue finders, and other key stakeholders to maximise business opportunities. Leverage social media platforms and local marketing strategies to engage the community and drive venue foot traffic. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of client needs and expectations. About You: You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in Sales & Marketing within the hotel industry. Previous management experience in both corporate sales and C&E sales is a must. You are a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. You are passionate about driving revenue and maximising hotel performance while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Pride in personal presentation and grooming essential Sound time management and problem-solving skills essential Familiar with various RFP platforms and their submission process.
