Junior Database Administrator (DBA) - Data Migration Specialist 6-month contract with potential to extend Melbourne Location Lage Banking Client Green Light is a growing consulting organisation known for its work in Telecommunications and System Integration Services organisations. We have a requirement for a DBA/ Data Migration Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract Responsibilities: Assist in the administration and migration of databases from MS SQL Server 2016 to multiple target systems. Collaborate with the asset team to transform source data into staging database tables. Support the development and optimization of stored procedures for data transformation and export. Conduct data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Handle receipt and ingestion of response files from target systems. Perform data quality checks and process management tasks. Document processes and maintain comprehensive records of data migration activities. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to database administration and data migration. Requirements: 2-4 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA). Familiarity with database administration and data migration projects. Proficiency with MS SQL Server. Experience with SSIS (nice to have). Scripting skills, particularly in Python (nice to have). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
