About the role We’re seeking an experienced Principal ICT Contract & Supplier Performance Administrator (AS7) to lead supplier performance management and ensure our ICT services deliver optimal commercial outcomes. In this pivotal role, you will drive commercial excellence and ensure that our ICT contracts deliver optimal outcomes while navigating complex stakeholder and vendor landscapes. Your work will directly support Queensland Rail’s commitment to connecting communities and delivering exceptional service across the state. Key responsibilities include: Lead the administration and commercial governance of ICT contracts, ensuring tailored solutions for a range of services providers. Drive supplier performance by implementing and refining performance management models to track obligations and deliver cost efficiencies. Provide expert consultation on contractual matters, assessing risks, and making informed recommendations. Navigate procurement and QITC framework limitations with a creative, adaptable approach. What we’re looking for: To be successful in this role, you must be proactive and strategic, with strong analytical skills and a solutions-focused mindset. Your ability to collaborate, communicate, and build relationships ensures transparency and effective stakeholder engagement. With a keen eye for detail, you excel in contract management, vendor oversight, and performance improvement in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you should possess the following: IT Contract & Vendor Management – Experience managing contracts with a focus on performance, commercial governance, and compliance. Procurement & Contract Knowledge – Strong understanding of procurement principles and experience with contract governance. Supplier Performance & Obligation Tracking – Proven ability to develop and implement performance management frameworks and track contractual obligations effectively. Strategic Advisory & Risk Management – Experience providing expert consultation on contractual matters, assessing risks, and making informed recommendations. Stakeholder & Conflict Resolution Skills – Ability to build productive relationships, negotiate contract terms, and resolve complex issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Remuneration & Employment Type This is a full-time, fixed-term position based in Brisbane CBD, concluding on 30 December 2025. The role offers a starting salary of $151,359 (pro rata) plus 12.75% superannuation, along with hybrid work options to support a healthy work-life balance.
