Position Overview: We are excited to announce a position of Retail Buyer who will work at Spar Express Marburg. This role is responsible for selecting, purchasing, and managing inventory of products that our franchise sells. They analyse market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make purchasing decisions that align with the company's financial goals and brand identity. Retail buyers work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time and price. Tasks & responsibilities : Monitoring and analysing sales data and sales trends and anticipating future needs utilising the Future Net software and other tools. Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely product replenishment, and negotiating bulk discounts, promotional deals, and supply agreements. Organizing and Monitoring sales promotions while staying informed about general market conditions Designing and implementing pricing, marketing, promotional and display strategies Providing management with guidance on long-term planning and sales promotions Developing work plans based on seasonal and budgetary requirements. Designing and implementing pricing, marketing, promotional and display strategies. Forecasting consumer trends and deciding on the quantity, style, and quality of goods to purchase. Tracking sales data and inventory levels and analysing trade, manufacturer, and market information to stay abreast of evolving market conditions. Qualifications and Experience : Diploma in the relevant field or three years of relevant experience may substitute for the qualification listed above.
