This position reports to Manager – Tendering, Engineering, Projects & Administration Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead planning, scheduling, and control efforts for all project phases of individual delivery for large size projects. Each day, you will maintain and analyze actual and forecasted schedules, cost, revenues, cash in/out, as well as risks and opportunities. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting in improving planning competence and suggesting improvements for tools and processes used in planning and control. The work model for the role is: Hybrid LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions Division in Moorebank, NSW. In your role you will support Projects Execution Management and Finance/Project Controllers in scheduling and administering of project reviews at local and global level for Australian Projects. You will also lead a small team of order handling, billing & administration team members as well as supporting the project business with project administration accountabilities. You will be mainly accountable for: •Attending Project reviews to assist in identifying project risks & opportunities and ensuring adherence to corporate governance, internal controls and business specific finance guidelines, directives & policies. •Supporting Project Managers with SAP cost report aspects of Project finance status, cash flows, claims, billing disputes, credits etc. along with Project Controllers. •Overseeing a team (4-5) of order handling, billing & administration team members as HR line manager. Key support to other functions (Finance, HR,) as required on specific tasks to achieve common objectives. •Maintenance and Improvements to Project cost review forms as per requirements Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in Project Administration and have proven industry experience in a similar role. Keen all-rounder who enjoys variety and wants to enhance their project administration and leadership skills through supporting on wider projects, finance and other functional teams Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP – PS module, SD module, and SAP order processing & invoice generation. Intermediate to advance Excel competency to understand existing Project review templates and future process improvements. Power BI competency is desired but not mandatory You are passionate about people and team leadership and you are innovative around process improvements. Degree in Business, Commerce, or Project Management, or have a demonstrated track record with professional TAFE qualifications. You are at ease communicating in excellent verbal and written English and have strong interpersonal skills.
