About the role The Senior Supplier Relationship Manager is responsible for building and managing the relationships and the performance of our strategic Retail Program partners, ensuring they meet their operational and contractual obligations. The role will engage with a broad range of stakeholders within the partner landscape and build collaborative and productive relationships that support our strategic goals and drive value for our employees and customers. What you’ll be doing Build and implement a commercial and governance framework for the AGL's Retail Transformation Program. Enable and facilitate strategic engagement between stakeholders and partners through an effectual communication model. Grow and strengthen partner relationships to drive high-quality services and performance that delivers operational excellence and business value. Monitor and drive achievement of defined operational performance SLAs and targets, holding partners accountable to performance agreements. Collaborate effectively with partners to implement course corrections and mitigation strategies as needed. Implement and manage a Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) process with partners and leverage CSI initiatives to create additional value over and above the contract requirements. Lead commercial negotiations and support critical sourcing activities. Liaise with procurement partners on contracts, requirements, and category strategies. Focus on optimising contract performance and mitigating supply chain risks through facilitating collaborative working. Provide guidance to stakeholder groups on commercial direction, procurement policies and processes, including contract management. Manage supply risk and compliance with responsible sourcing, ethics, and regulatory requirements. What you’ll bring Extensive experience working on large-scale programs with proven ability to lead transformation for positive change. Ability to work effectively in a complex, political matrix management environment, including in large complex commercial functions. Proven experience and skills in managing strategic delivery partners for success. Strong analytical, conceptual, and project management skills. Highly developed knowledge of contributing to and developing strategic plans. Proven experience in enterprise functions, including time in highly complex technology environments. Demonstrate an inherent ability to use effective negotiating and influencing skills in a collaborative manner. Knowledge of the business drivers and issues facing a large-scale energy company and best practice procurement, and the ability to assist in translating these into requirements for inclusion in portfolio activity. Strong knowledge across service delivery and operations in an outsourcing environment.
