About the role As the Administration Officer, International Admissions, you will provide a range of administrative functions within Federation’s International Admission office, including providing timely and accurate information to prospective and existing students, assessing Academic and English entry requirements for international applications for federation campuses and partner locations, entering and maintaining student data, processing acceptances and preparing international applications for assessment. You will: assist with implementing conversion strategies to convert applications as per stated service level agreements; process Overseas Students' Health Cover (OHSC) applications, including communicating with the health cover provider, as required; process student’s acceptance of offer letter, and issue Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoEs) documents for student visas; and process general admission requests from international applicants in regard to application deferral, withdrawal and payment refund About you Reporting to the Coordinator, International Admissions, you will have demonstrated problem-solving, organisational and time-management skills; and the ability to prioritise work demands to meet conflicting deadlines in a busy office environment. Previous experience in the international education sector is desirable. You will possess demonstrated: interpersonal and communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to empathise and communicate with international students including those from diverse cultural backgrounds; ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; and to deal with confidential information; and experience with student administration systems and/or the ability to adapt and learn new IT systems.
