Are you an experienced Linux System Administrator ready to support high performance computing in a secure, mission-critical environment? We’re seeking a TSPV cleared - Linux System Administrator (APS6 equivalent) to contribute to the operation, design, and performance of HPC infrastructure. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and a deep understanding of Linux environments. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support Linux systems within a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment Provision and configure systems using lifecycle tools or Infrastructure-as-Code methods Develop system support and security documentation Work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance Key Requirements: Minimum 4 years’ experience in Linux system administration in enterprise or government settings Proficient with Linux OS (e.g., Red Hat, Rocky, SUSE) and HPC storage systems Sound understanding of networking and HPC system topologies Capable of hardware deployment and decommissioning in a high-security environment Location: Canberra. Experience level: APS6 equivalent, SFIA4. Contract Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options. Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.
