. About the role : We have an exciting opportunity available for a Lighting Sales Consultant to join a highly reputable company specialising within the commercial and industrial industries. This is a full time role, Monday - Friday, normal business hours The opportunity to work remotely and on the road, coming into the office once a week and as required Tasks & Responsibilities: Identify potential quotes and leads and convert into sales Track quotes and potential orders Maintain a portfolio of accounts Request and maintain lighting samples Promote lighting solutions through physical samples and product documentation Achieve sales targets and budgets Report on pipeline of designs, specifications, negotiations, and orders Skills & experience: Manage a current portfolio of contacts to bring to the role e.g. architects, engineers & builders Demonstrated experience in working in a new business development and sales Experience working in a fast paced sales environment Ability to clearly communicate customer expectations in order to achieve desired outcomes. Possess solid negotiation and customer relationship building skills Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales targets set.
