About the role The position of the Administrative Officer (Midland) is located in St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospital, is responsible to the Senior Administrative Officer (St John of God Murdoch & Fiona Stanley Hospital) and is accountable to the University of Notre Dame’s Hospital Coordinator at SJOG Midland on a day to day basis. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Hospital Coordinator and any other Notre Dame academic appointees. Assist in the collation, preparation and supervision of timetabling and general academic for the students. Act as the main point of contact for Fremantle staff and students and provide them with the necessary information. Liaise with appropriate officers at the hospitals regarding any organisational Notre Dame hospital issues. Format curriculum documents and presentations as required. Provide orientation to students at St John of God Midland Hospital including to theatres. Provide support to the campus based administrative staff during periods when students are not in the hospitals, including the OSCE examinations. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards and guidelines including identifying, assessing and controlling health and safety risks in the workplace. Qualifications, skills & experience Completion of a Diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience; and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience/training. Previous experience providing comprehensive administrative assistance and support. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, set and achieve realistic goals and establish work priorities either individually or as a team member. High level of attention to detail and ability to work autonomously. Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, whilst maintaining a strong focus on high quality service.
