Your Organisation A prestigious independent girls' school offering education from Kindergarten to Year 12 is currently seeking a temporary part-time Senior School Receptionist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a warm, professional, and highly supportive team for a short-term assignment of 2–4 weeks, with flexible working days (3 days per week, 8:00am–4:00pm). About the Role As the Senior School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience, while also supporting administrative functions across various departments. Key Responsibilities: Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately Prepare and distribute daily communications Respond to emails and general enquiries in a timely, professional manner Coordinate freight and mail distribution Book and manage meeting rooms Greet visitors and guests with warmth and professionalism Use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) effectively Maintain a tidy and organised reception area Provide general administrative support as required Liaise confidently with staff at all levels of the organisation About You You are a polished communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to customer service. You take pride in your work, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. Previous reception or administrative experience in a professional setting (school experience highly regarded) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident using Microsoft Office Suite Strong organisational and multitasking abilities A warm and approachable manner, with high levels of empathy and patience Requirements: Valid Working With Children Check Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Availability to work 3 days per week , 8:00am–4:00pm (days are flexible) Please note you must be available to commence Immediately to apply for this role!
