Work flexibly and remotely - Opportunity to work from home 2 days a week, and 3 from the office ABOUT THE ROLE This role reports to the Administration Team Leader in this division and will be primarily responsible for supporting our Valuers & Sales Agents with administration relating to purchasing Salvage (damaged vehicles) stock via Pickles processes. The standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. This is a full-time hybrid working opportunity. Training will likely take place in our Milperra offices, and then hybrid work options will be available where the successful candidates will be able to work from home as well as the office as directed. For any internal applicants, the position can be based anywhere in Australia, however for external candidates the position must be based in Sydney. Your main roles and responsibilities would include: Complete PPSR and WOVR status checks on all relevant vehicles prior to purchase Check Asset numbers and make data corrections as required in our internal system Liaise with 3rd parties for required details to finalise the collection & payment. Arrange the collections of stock through Pickles transport departments nationally. Updating our system details & working closely with sales agents re updates. Liaising with Insurance vendors & finance firms with encumbrances & payouts that need to be sorted due to storage fees etc. Running stock master reports to monitor stock that are not paid for & showing as stored and action as required Processing all payments through accounts and liaising with Finance Department as required Ensuring operational efficiency by proactively managing stock on site including encumbered and long term vehicles. Assisting other department staff with accurate and prompt data entry and recorded keeping including filing as per company audit requirements Managing and resolve complex issues relating to stock and sold vehicles Responding to all calls and e-mails accurately and promptly ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience: Experience in an administrative role Understanding of PPSR & WOVR, and relevant state legislation in this area would be highly advantageous Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel skills Competent oral & written communication skills Efficient; able to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines Able to work effectively as part of a team Excellent interpersonal & client relationship building skills High attention to detail WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU Employee Benefits – Earn up to 5 days’ extra leave and enjoy sharing in the company bonus program after a qualifying period.
