This role presents an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of casual academic administration, ensuring seamless coordination, compliance, and efficiency in work allocation processes. You will oversee daily administrative activities, support Casual Academic staff, maintain accurate documentation, and support in continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in onboarding and training new team members, engaging with stakeholders, and managing timesheet processes. Your key responsibilities will be to: Manage daily administrative activities, supporting casual academic staff, tracking work allocations, and ensuring efficiency in processes. Triaging and tracking technical issues raised by Casual Academic Administrative Officers. Preparing onboarding and training material for new Casual Academic Administrative Officers, including the existing and ongoing uplift. Support compliance with university policies, and process improvement initiatives. Respond to enquiries, liaising with faculty staff, and fostering professional relationships. Maintain accuracy in work allocation databases, and processing updates. About you High level communication skills with the ability to influence others to action. Excellent administrative and data entry skills, with strong attention to detail. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. Previous administrative experience in a tertiary organisation and knowledge of the higher education sector would be an advantage.
