This Retail Leadership opportunity plays a key role in working with their Head of Retail to execute the retail strategy and drive profitability within QLD & WA, taking ownership of their area's P&L. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, a customer-centric focus and the achievement of key performance indicators across all stores under their remit. Profitably grow our MYER channel by driving individual Brand productivity across Sportscraft and JAG concession pads, focusing on customer acquisition, service, profitability, ranking and productivity targets. This is a challenging and fast paced role that requires superior communication and people skills to achieve success. A manager able to Lead from the front to empower their teams to drive exception levels of Brand and Customer experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. SALES AND PROFITABILITY Maximising store profit. Ensuring retail budgets are met or exceeded. Driving individual store and regional KPI’s (customer acquisition, ATV, UPT, individual ranking by Brand by store). Providing sales and financial guidance to store teams monthly. Delivering on sales optimisation strategies as directed by Head of Retail. Delivering effective rosters to optimise store labour within set budgets. 2. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE Foster a customer-centric culture ensuring outstanding Brand presentation, service, experience, and satisfaction. Implement and monitor customer feedback, addressing any issues promptly. Ensure highest level of visual merchandising standards in store to maximise traffic opportunities and sales potential. 3. TEAM LEADERSHIP Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance team and culture while promoting harmonious working relationships in store. Ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all areas of the business. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoings training and development. Recruitment of key roles in line with Brand succession planning and regular store operations/ openings and closures. 4. OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT Working closely with Concession Partner management teams to ensure all promotional, stock, position and marketing opportunities maximised. Effective implementation of visual merchandising, store operations and presentation standards, training, and stock management strategies. Effective rostering Take reasonable care for your own and others health and safety. Meet all APG & Co WHS&S requirements in all stores. Ensuring all retail compliance audits are completed. Keep up to date and uphold current company policies, procedure, and work processes. YOU 5 years in a similar senior retail role. Demonstrated multi-store management across multiple regions. Leadership experience with high performance retail teams. Delivering coaching, mentoring and development opportunities Strong leadership skills with well-development performance management ability. Strategic thinker; competent at turning strategy into action. Excellent inter-personal, communication and people management skills. Ability to manage budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating efficient rosters This role requires regional and interstate travel on a fortnightly basis Demonstrated ability to work with solutions-based decisions to drive excellence in customer experience. Solid financial acumen.
