Health & Safety Administrator — Victoria, Australia

McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Administrator to join our team at Diggers Rest. This opportunity has arisen due to internal succession planning, and we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the project’s health, safety, and environmental initiatives. About the Role As a key member of our site team, the H&S Administrator will work closely with the Project Manager, HSE Advisors, and other project personnel to ensure the highest standards of safety compliance are upheld throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Support the HSE team in implementing and maintaining safety systems and procedures Assist in the preparation and maintenance of safety documentation, reports, and records Monitor and coordinate HSE compliance requirements, including training and certifications Schedule safety meetings and record minutes/actions Liaise with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure HSE expectations are communicated and understood What We Offer A supportive and experienced safety team Exposure to landmark infrastructure projects Career development and progression opportunities within a reputable Tier 1 contractor A collaborative, values-driven workplace culture About You Previous experience in a similar HSE administrative role within construction or infrastructure projects Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with safety management systems About Us McConnell Dowell – Creative Construction Our purpose is Providing a Better Life.
