Home Job Info Teaching Role Description/Criteria Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the full-time position of Foundation Classroom Teacher to commence in Term 3. The successful applicant will: Demonstrate commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices Well versed in contemporary teaching pedagogies and proficient in the analysis and use of data to inform their teaching. Possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning. Appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities and be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment. Differentiate learning for students according to their educational needs and abilities and are responsible for the creation of effective assessment practices and quality teaching programs Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Demonstrate the ability to use data to inform teaching and learning Contribute to and enact the School’s Improvement Plan. Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of Religious Education. Confident in the use of ICT. Demonstrate initiative and a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning. Possess a love of learning. Special Requirements: The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
