The Role As the Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, enhancing the customer and donor experience, and supporting overall store operations. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will oversee the daily functions of the store’s front-end operations, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include leading a team, maintaining high service standards, monitoring cash operations, and upholding the company’s values in every customer and donor interaction. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support the sales floor team, ensuring smooth daily operations. Assist with recruiting, training, and coaching team members to drive performance. Manage front-end operations, including cash handling, registers, and customer service areas. Ensure sales floor standards, organisation, and merchandising align with company expectations. Oversee safety, loss prevention, and compliance with policies and procedures. Skills & Experience We are looking for a passionate retail leader who thrives in a dynamic, values-driven environment. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience as a sales floor supervisor, cashier supervisor, customer service leader, or retail manager. Strong leadership and coaching skills to drive team performance. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving, decision-making, and independent judgment. The ability to plan, organise, and execute tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
