In line with the construction of ECU City in the heart of Perth CBD, ECU aims to be a sector leader in international education. Our team is responsible for building and maintaining international partnerships and contributing to maximising ECU's international revenue and growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven person with the desire to support the administrative and operational priorities of the Team. The Role The successful candidate will possess a pro-active approach, high level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills as well as strong organisational and record keeping skills. You will be a true self-starter with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously. It is expected that initiative will be taken to identify and support the resolution of issues in this dynamic environment, with key responsibilities including: Undertaking administration, finance and event support to ensure the success of the Team’s activities. Provide secretariat support to the Dean, International Business Operations and broader business unit management team. Direct line management of an Administration Officer. Supporting daily administration tasks for the Dean, IBO and when required, the IBO leadership team and the wider IBO team, such as scheduling of meetings, minute-taking and logistics. Upholding data integrity across CRM and systems, ensuring agreement details are kept up to date and queries are dealt within a reasonable time frame. Contributing to the effective organisation of the Team. Key Criteria The successful applicant will have: Exceptional customer focussed approach including providing senior administrative support within a busy office environment as well as secretariat/executive support to management. Exceptional attention to detail for the purpose of reviewing, drafting, and co-ordinating correspondence, documents, minutes, agendas, records management, and events focused on key internal and external stakeholders Experience working in a communications role with the ability to deliver communications across a range of channels both internal and external Demonstrated high level organisational, problem solving and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with minimal supervision. Recent line management experience (desirable) A background in administration, event management and/or project management support is (desirable) You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence, and Courage.
