Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Advisor – Temporary Traffic Management for a 12-month contract within a major government division. Rate: $67.13 per hour super Location: South East Queensland Contract Length: 12 months with possible extension In this frontline advisory role, you will provide expert support to operational teams within the Infrastructure Management and Delivery division, ensuring effective design and oversight of temporary traffic management (TTM) systems across a variety of construction and maintenance projects. Key responsibilities include: Designing complex and simple Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMP) in alignment with current standards. Inspecting and monitoring compliance of implemented TTM on active sites. Coordinating technical TTM training and evaluating innovative TTM tools and techniques. Reviewing externally prepared TGSs and TMPs to ensure quality, risk mitigation, and safety. Supporting operational staff with mentoring, training, and on-site guidance. Working collaboratively across regions to enhance RoadTek’s TTM capability. Desirable attributes: Strong knowledge of TTM regulations and design standards. Experience managing or evaluating sub-contractors and traffic control companies. Proven ability to deliver training and coaching in field-based settings. High-level communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
