To strengthen DDG’s business analysis capability, DDG is looking for an experienced ICT Business Analyst specialising in User Experience (UX) Design and skilled in the design of services aligned to the Digital Transformation Agency’s (DTA) Digital Experience Policy. Our successful candidate will lead the delivery of new processes and professionalization activities to ensure DDG delivers digital capabilities in alignment with the DTA Digital Experience Policy. They may also be assigned to work with programs and projects across different technology and business areas to plan, manage and deliver business analysis artefacts including but not limited to user journey maps, operational scenarios and requirements (under both agile and waterfall delivery approaches). A chapter of other business analysis professionals, including the Business Analysis Chapter Lead to whom you will report, will support you. Your chapter will provide you with professional development and peer support to ensure your continued growth in your BA UX Designer career and general APS skills. Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will: Have extensive experience undertaking user research to understand stakeholder and user needs, preferences and pain points. Be proficient in qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform service design (for example, data analytics, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, workshops and surveys). Hold highly developed skills for creating user personas and journey maps to visualise the user experience across different user groups to identify pain points and make recommendations on system or process enhancements. Have a strong understanding of the Digital Transformation Agency’s Digital Experience Policy and associated standards (or the ability to rapidly acquire). Be experienced in facilitating business analysis activities using Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches including requirements elicitation/validation workshops, current state and future state gap analysis and other requirements management activities. Have a proven track record of delivering high quality business analysis artefacts including user personas, requirements documentation, journey (process) maps and work-breakdown structures (for example, agile epics/features/user stories).
