This position is centred around new product introduction and continuous improvement. Job: Design Engineer required with a positive proactive attitude to getting the job done. 5 years’ experience is required within a fast-paced drawing office environment. Your responsibilities will be centred around supporting the engineering team, producing innovative 3D CAD models to effectively drive and deliver innovative engineering designs and solutions to support their products. The chosen Design Engineer will be responsible for designing new products and developing existing projects. Liaising with stakeholders both internally and externally you will offer technical solutions with regards to company products, parts and components. This will involve designing from initial concept through to completion as well as working closely with new and existing customers. To apply you will have: Full working rights in Australia A Degree and 5 years design experience 5 years 3D Design experience, developing, checking and producing designs 5 years’ experience designing conveyors or rotational medium to heavy equipment Heavy Steel Fabrication design and project engineering experience 5 years design to manufacture / fabrication experience Deep knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical design and engineering Ability to record own BOM’s and participate in design reviews Experience design to global standards – ISO / AS codes Scheduling and taking project ownership Ability to liaise with other engineering departments – Quality, sales, Logistics Excellent communication and presentation skills Salary: Our client offers competitive remuneration packages, they vary with regards to experience, $75k to $85k base salaries depending on your past experience.
