Qualifications While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for: A genuine love for working with children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities. Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check. Must have valid Australian work rights. A relevant Certificate or Diploma-level qualification in children’s services, or be in the process of completing one (per ACECQA guidelines).
