Warehouse Accountant - Administrator About Us: The Parklife Metro consortium, working in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering a transformative metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney. This will provide significant economic stimulus for Western Sydney. The Role: As Warehouse Accountant, your responsibilities are to process the Warehouse Accounting and financial office flows (codification of PRs, Store Entries, Store Issues, Reports) of the SSTOM Project Warehouse. Salary package on offer - $75,000-95,0000. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Purchase Requests by assigning the appropriate sap code and cost code for the correct budget allocation and the proper allocation of the costs Preparation of Delivery orders by assigning the proper sap code and cost code in order to address the costs in the proper way according to the budget and for budget monitoring purposes Assist the supply chain team in identifying potential suppliers for inventory items Preparation of material goods receipts to ensure accurate coding of material classes for a correct allocation of the goods commodity value in the warehouse accounting balance Control, process and monitor the issuance of materials to various sites by assigning the appropriate cost code for the correct allocation of the cost in the warehouse accounting balance according to the budget and for budget monitoring purposes Coordination of store inventory and communication to relevant project personnel Reconciliation of physical inventory to accounting records to align the warehouse accounting statement for the project accounting closing balance Accounts Payable as required, including invoice checking and verification Daily transaction posting and bookkeeping through SAP General Ledger reconciliation Creation and management of fixed asset register in SAP Preparation of warehouse management reports Preparation of management and financial accounting reports, related to the monthly closing of the warehouse accounting statement Maintain filing and record keeping of all material safety data sheets Filing and internal audit compliance The above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of SSTOM Management. Requirements: At least 2 years of proven experience as a Warehouse Accountant or in a related position. Understanding and knowledge of logistics documentation. Experience with financial reports and inventory processes. Proficiency in SAP ERP and Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Formulas, Graphs, and Reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team. Excellent attention to detail, mathematical skills, and data analysis capabilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. MBA or equivalent in Business Administration or related fields preferred.
