Job Description YOUR ROLE The Infrastructure Program Support Officer (Construction) is a 24-month fixed-term role within the Infrastructure Delivery Team at MACS. Supporting over 300 Catholic schools, the team oversees the full infrastructure lifecycle—from master planning to project delivery and compliance. This role plays a key part in supporting the Capital Program Team, which manages around 100 active projects valued at approximately $650 million. The Support Officer provides vital process, reporting, and system support to ensure efficient project delivery and compliance, working closely with internal and external stakeholders across the infrastructure portfolio. WHAT YOU WILL DO Lead the implementation and optimisation of project management software —act as the system expert, providing training, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring reporting functionality meets operational needs. Ensure accurate and timely project reporting —manage infrastructure portfolio updates, performance tracking, and ensure timely preparation and submission of grant acquittals. Provide strategic data analysis and financial oversight —monitor budgets against approved capital plans, provide insights, and proactively manage project timelines with program requirements. Maintain strong stakeholder communication and risk management —maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders through all project phases to support successful outcomes. Identify and report against risk items to senior management. Oversee fleet management and post-project compliance —coordinate portable fleet logistics for project related demand, providing timely advice on availability and delivery timelines. ABOUT YOU Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or capital projects, including oversight of multiple workstreams, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget. Expertise in project management systems, including implementation, optimisation, staff training, and generating system-based reports and analytics. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret risk data, monitor budgets against capital plans, and provide insights to senior stakeholders. High attention to detail and compliance, with experience managing accurate project records, grant acquittals, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met. Relevant qualifications in construction, contract administration, quantity surveying or related disciplines such as engineering or project support will be considered, supported by practical industry experience in the delivery of capital infrastructure. This is a 24-month fixed-term position with the salary range is $100,000 - $138,000 per annum exclusive of superannuation and commensurate with skills and experience.
