Job Type: Casual role Salary: $34.47 – $75.00 per hour (inclusive of applicable payrate loading) Roster Shift Schedules covering: *Regular roster available (*subject to client and business needs) Day: 8am -12noon Evening: 6pm -10pm Cohort Staffing is recruiting for Support staff in and around the Daylesford region of Victoria. About the role: We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to assist a female client living in Daylesford. This role involves both personal care and behavioural support, requiring someone who can work independently and respond confidently to a variety of situations. Regular shifts available in the morning and/or afternoon from 8:00am–12:00pm and 6:00pm–10:00pm daily . You’ll be supporting the client with day-to-day tasks, encouraging independence while ensuring safety. Role Requirements and Duties: Ability to commit to working required regular roster shifts Assist client in undertaking a range of activities of daily living including medication assistance, personal & self-care, domestic duties, cleaning, food preparation & mealtime assistance, dressing & maintenance of personal hygiene and community access. Follow established practices, procedures, care plans and care directions Complete progress notes, incident reports and other relevant care documents for each care and support provision Engage in all direct/indirect supervision Undertake in-person, online and other training as directed Always ensure you follow compliance requirements as per guidance, regularly checking that you follow best work practices and documentation Maintain the highest level of professional integrity and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of client information Ensure all support work practice is at the highest quality standard Any other duties as directed from time to time. Essential Criteria - Skills and Personal Traits: Energetic and willing to provide personal care, including showering and toileting Empathetic and Pro-Active attitude - possess a real passion in caring for clients Friendly and positive interaction with team, clients and support team and visitors/family members Demonstrated time-management skills Reliable and punctual Must have experience working in challenging environments. Demonstrated understanding of following stipulated procedures. Experience: Work experience in Australia in any of the following areas: Health/Aged Care/Disability Services (Required) Qualifications: Qualification in Health/Aged Care/Disability Services (Required) Licences/Certifications: NDIS Worker Screening Check ID or the ability to obtain one (Required) Current First Aid & CPR Certificate or the ability to obtain one (Required) Current Driver’s License, your own car, and comprehensive/third-party insurance (Required) Working with Children Check (Employee) or the ability to obtain one (Required) We are committed to child safety.
