About this role Holcim is always looking for Customer Service extraordinaires to join our high achieving team based at Milton. About the Role You will be dealing directly with all our amazing customers, from those using our products while renovating their forever home, to Tier 1 builders and Government contractors working on major infrastructure projects. So, who are we looking for? The one thing we can tell you is that there is no “typical mould” for the ideal person. You may come from a building & construction background? Maybe logistics is your thing? Retail or hospitality background? Or maybe, you have been fine tuning your barista skills while serving up the best customer service in town. This is a fast-paced role, in an ever-changing environment so we are looking for people who are resilient and agile, that can adapt as needed. About you: You will have strong verbal and written communication skills. This is key, as the information that you are giving and receiving will be a determining factor in finding early success in the role whilst ensuring satisfied customers. You will be confident in MS Office and/or Google suite. Additionally, if learning new programs is your thing, this may be just the place for you. You are comfortable working off multiple screens, while effectively receiving & passing on important information in relation to our products. Our customers are everything to us, so we are looking for people with a strong customer mindset that enjoy partnering to find solutions. As your client interactions will be phone based, you need to be able to quickly build rapport, obtain all the relevant information, and have a solution at hand. But don't worry, you will have a fabulous team around you for any additional support you need. Why Holcim? We want you to love your role, so we will set you up with strong exposure to the business to develop your understanding from day 1. As part of this, in your first few weeks you will head out to some of our operational sites, so you can see first-hand what happens outside our office. We understand that people learn at different paces and have different learning styles. We customise your training around what is working for you. If you need a little longer on something, we have you covered! This is a fulltime Monday to Friday role, with additional Saturday mornings on offer (which of course is paid overtime). We have staggered start times, with the earliest start being 05:30am. Shifts are rostered for 10 hours, however, during inclement weather, we might finish after 8 hours if things have quietened down. We offer hybrid working with one day a week work from home, two days if you work on a Saturday (at the conclusion of your training period). In addition, you will be working in a secure office, with a great team alongside you, which includes free secure parking onsite, where you will have your very own allocated parking spot! We are also just a short stroll from public transport. This isn't a role you take for a few weeks or months. There is a lot of time invested into training. Development is encouraged and we will help you in every way to achieve great things. We also offer excellent opportunities to progress within the business, both locally and interstate.
