Introduction to the Role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for administration duties associated with production, safety, quality and training. This is a varied role including reception, production administration, general office administration and other duties as required. Due to the part time nature and operational requirements of the position we encourage applicants genuinely seeking 25 hours only a week and we take the time to confirm this role is 5 hours a day over the complete 5 day working week. The Role Responsibilities Supports production planning & production administration function, under the support and guidance of the Production Planners, Production Manager, Manufacturing Unit Manager and Canning Vale Leadership Team. Monitors and creates work orders according to the master schedule to meet shipping dates and customer order delivery requirements – utilizing both Metso Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) & Engineered Requirements Planning (ERP) systems (SAP) as well as internal procedures and schedules. Reviews existing Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, technical drawings, and prepares Production Job Cards / templates for issue to manufacturing team. Reviews & receipts finished Works Orders, making necessary adjustments in material usage, labour hours or other cost components based on feedback from factory floor communications. Maintains production records required for traceability & compliance with quality management systems. Maintains the manufactured parts material master data in SAP. Confers with factory production team members to determine status of specific orders and reports related information to all stakeholders as required. Supports the collation and recording of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) data & other survey information regarding materials manufacture. Monitor and create Outbound delivery notifications based on Sales Order delivery dates Monitor and create Inbound delivery notifications based on Purchase Order delivery dates Greeting visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Process incoming & outgoing postage and packages. General office management including liaising with Maintenance Dept. for office maintenance requirements. Maintain a professional presentation of the office, meeting rooms, reception area and kitchens Cater for office meetings, organise stationery and office supplies. Printing, binding and preparing finished documents for presentations and meetings. Filing and document organisation. Assist the Management and staff with any ad-hoc duties as, and when, required. The successful candidate will possess the following: Essential Intermediate computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite & SAP. Well-developed communication skills. Excellent planning and organisational skills. A high level of attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills.
