The Opportunity As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our business operations in Retail finance. Your innovative contributions will enhance how our team works and bring our projects to fruition, driving the Dexus team forward. This role is a 12 month FTC which will develop a customer centric, high performance team that provides accurate and timely financial insight enabled by technology, processes and procedures. As a Senior Finance Manager in the Retail Finance team, you will make an impact by; Leading and managing the Retail property accounting/finance teams, setting clear strategies and objectives, and overseeing recruitment, training, and development of junior staff. Ensuring accurate and timely management reporting, forecasting, and analysis across the Retail portfolio, including property budgets, monthly finance reporting, and risk governance. Providing comprehensive financial oversight and delivery of asset-level reporting, highlighting key risks and opportunities to the leadership team. Working closely with counterparts in the Office and Industrial sectors to standardize processes and outputs across the portfolio. Driving finance-related improvement initiatives and support Real Estate Technology projects, enhancing analytics and insights across the Retail portfolio. About You Tertiary qualification in a finance/commerce/business discipline CA/CPA qualified Minimum of 10 years post CA/CPA qualification experience in a reporting role and/or technical role within chartered/commerce Strong commercial understanding of transactions and statutory reporting, ideally in infrastructure, property, or funds management. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and explain complex matters clearly to various stakeholders. Essential accounting technical skills and analytical abilities, with transaction advisory experience in a Big4 or commercial setting being advantageous. Experience with Yardi, TM1, Workiva, and knowledge of Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards is beneficial. Excellent communication, project management skills, and the ability to influence outcomes, make decisions with incomplete information, and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
