About the Role As a Veterinary Nursing Teacher, you will deliver high-quality vocational education and training to students pursuing the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Working in our simulated workplace environment, you'll provide students with industry-relevant skills and knowledge in a supportive learning environment. Deliver engaging and practical lessons in veterinary nursing across a range of contexts Design and develop learning programs and assessment tools Mentor students in both classroom and clinical settings Contribute to program evaluation and improvement Maintain industry connections to ensure currency of training Support students during their required 240 hours of practical placement What You'll Teach Animal care management and basic animal care Reception duties and professional communication Infection control and occupational health and safety Animal welfare and nutrition Pathology practices and medical nursing skills Radiology practices and anaesthetic monitoring Dental nursing techniques Essential Requirements Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or higher qualification Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) Minimum 2 years of practical experience working in a veterinary clinic Strong knowledge of animal welfare and ethics Current Working with Children clearance
