Warehouse Supervisor — Armidale Region, New South Wales

We are looking for a strong leader to oversee the smooth operation of daily warehouse activities in a fast-paced and growing business. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 10 staff, managing logistics, inventory, and workflows while upholding safety and operational standards. About the Role As Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead daily warehouse operations, including pick, pack, ship, receiving, inventory management, and team coordination. Reporting to the Distribution & Manufacturing Manager, your day will start with a 7 AM team meeting, followed by hands-on leadership and administrative responsibilities. You’ll be expected to coach your team, manage performance, and collaborate with other departments across the business. You’ll drive a strong safety culture, ensure smooth communication between teams, and step in to assist operationally when needed, a hands-on approach is critical. From managing stocktakes to resolving delivery issues, your passion and leadership skills will ensure operational efficiency, staff morale, and quality service delivery. You enjoy leading teams, running smooth shifts, and solving problems before they escalate. Your leadership style is respectful but firm, and you have no problem stepping in to coach staff, enforce procedures, and set the tone for accountability as well as jumping on the tools as required. Ideally, you have experience supervising warehouse teams and know how to balance team motivation with productivity. You take safety seriously, enjoy structure and routine, and like to see your KPIs hit every week. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of 10 warehouse staff in day-to-day operations Conduct daily team meetings and ensure clear communication of goals and updates Manage inventory accuracy through stocktakes, reconciliations, and reporting Oversee pick/pack/ship processes and monitor outbound logistics Supervise receiving operations and ensure accurate documentation of incoming goods Monitor team performance, conduct reviews, and implement improvement plans when needed Maintain WHS standards and lead regular safety inspections Collaborate with internal departments (Purchasing, Customer Service, Production) Troubleshoot operational issues and step into roles when necessary Produce operational reports and ensure compliance with documentation requirements Key Attributes Strong leadership skills with a focus on team performance and accountability Clear communicator and confident problem-solver Highly organised, practical, and detail-oriented Positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure Comfortable with both hands-on tasks and admin duties Qualifications and Experience 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations At least 2 year in a supervisory or leadership role Proficient in WMS and Microsoft Excel Forklift license (preferred) Strong understanding of inventory and distribution workflows What’s on Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Profit-sharing scheme after probation Career progression opportunities within operations and leadership A modern facility with great staff amenities (including gym access) Supportive team culture and a well-established training program How to Apply If you're a confident warehouse leader looking for a long-term role with growth potential in a supportive, energetic workplace—we'd love to hear from you.
