Job Description As a Senior Interior Designer, you’ll be an integral part of our design team, working on a diverse range of projects across workplace, commercial and education/health. You’ll collaborate with architects, strategists, and other designers to create thoughtful and innovative interior environments that enhance how people live, work, and connect. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Lead the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and innovation. Develop and present compelling design concepts, material palettes, and spatial strategies. Oversee/participate in documentation, ensuring high-quality detailing and technical accuracy. Manage client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to coordinate design intent and project delivery. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering their professional growth. Stay ahead of industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices to inform innovative solutions. Qualifications Several year experience with a leading interior design firm, with a strong portfolio of completed commercial workplace projects. Experience working with clients across commercial sectors is essential, ideally with a good working knowledge of the Australian market. Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent. Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape (or other rendering tools). Ability to lead and inspire design teams, with strong conceptual thinking and attention to detail. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Project Management experience in coordinating teams, budgets, and timelines effectively. A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong conceptual design skills and attention to detail. Attributes Confident in presenting ideas, collaborating with teams, and engaging with clients. Ability to think creatively and adapt to project challenges. Focused on achieving targets and driving measurable commercial success.
