This could be the opportunity for you. Our client straddles the sustainability and manufacturing industries with operations in Australia (Melbourne and South Australia) and New Zealand. Our client is experiencing strong growth with a large renewable energy capital works project on foot at the moment. Led by an outstanding General Counsel, the legal team provides broad advice to the business on a range of areas including: Key Responsibilities Corporate and Commercial – work with cross-functional teams to negotiate and draft a broad range of commercial, property, M&A, JV, financing and restructuring agreements and some litigation to support significant business projects; Corporate Governance – support the business on best practice corporate governance, modern slavery and whistleblower policy, risk and compliance, process implementation, delegation of authority and debt instruments; and Process Improvement: Identify, plan, and execute projects to enhance legal risk management processes and governance standards. What You’ll Bring A minimum of 4 years’ PQE from a leading global or national law firm or similar in-house environment; High level commercial drafting and analytical skills from a corporate M&A, commercial, banking and finance or disputes practice group; Proven ability to work collaboratively within a matrixed team environment, including cross-border operations; and Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to provide clear, actionable advice.
