Maintenance Electrician — West Tamworth, Tamworth

About the role: As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing plant machinery to support smooth, safe, and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include: Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with Baiada’s standards and systems Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, and other supervisors and leading hands Carrying out maintenance work in line with Baiada's operational and compliance requirements About You: Proactive, trade-qualified professional with a hands-on approach and strong teamwork ethic. To succeed in this role, you will have: A trade qualification as an Electrician (required) along with experience working in a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment, preferably within the intensive food processing industry Strong decision-making skills, particularly under pressure Effective communication skills, both verbal and written The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team A desire for long-term career development Full Australian working rights (citizenship or permanent residency) You’ll also bring a mechanical mindset, a commitment to safety, and the flexibility to work across rotating shifts—including weekends and public holidays.
