The Role We are excited to be recruiting for a high calibre Solutions Design Manager (Warehouse Automation). Reporting directly to the Head of Warehouse Solution Design, the Solution Design Manager will lead inputs into the solution design for tender responses, provide leadership, commercial due diligence, and driving the process forward by liaising closely with all key stakeholders. This position requires logical, entrepreneurial thinking to develop unique solutions to our clients through the identification of prospective business offerings and future opportunities, producing high quality professionally compiled solutions for tenders which consistently delivers solutions to meet either existing customers’ or prospects’ needs. This position is based in Sydney. To be successful as the Solutions Design Manager you will: Collaborate with teams and experts to develop and align solutions, and source appropriate teaming partners, suppliers, and subcontractors. Engage in research and teamwork to influence and design solutions, while monitoring tender responses to ensure accuracy and high quality. Create and present models that cater to customer needs and manage the production of solution design documentation for timely and accurate tender submissions. Design and document solutions for seamless integration and business execution, liaising closely with stakeholders in contract transition activities. Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results, and ensure full compliance with all policies, guidelines, and procedures. Facilitate tender meetings, maintain open, inclusive communication, and perform the capture lead role when required. About You: Qualifications An undergraduate degree in Engineering or Logistics Management or a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution. Membership of a relevant association highly regarded AutoCAD skills are essential Skills and Experience Comprehensive experience related industry in a logistics or supply chain function. Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel (this is a pre-requisite), MS PowerPoint and MS Visio skills Proven ability to use word-processing and presentation software Critical thinking ability that enables continuous improvement opportunities to be identified and implemented with the support of the broader team Able to demonstrate consulting capability through previous successful project Excellent analytical skills What moves you?
