Join our dedicated team and provide essential administration support across our Men’s Hostel Facility, Family Crisis Accommodation service, and Homeless Outreach programs. Your day will be diverse and impactful, you will be handling invoice processing, client contribution receipting, ledger management, phone inquiries, basic intake and assessment, homeless database entry, and even assisting with kitchen ordering and audits. More than just an admin role, you'll be an integral part of a compassionate team, supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community. This is a Permanent, Full- time position (38 hours per week) based in Toowoomba Hostel and Crisis Family Accommodation Service located in James Street . We value flexibility, so we are open to adjusting start and finish times for the right candidate. To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria: Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience Previous experience in a high-volume administration support and Receptionist duties Previous experience in the management and support of staff and/or volunteers Microsoft Office suite proficiency with advanced aptitude in Word, Outlook and Excel Exemplary phone manner and a professional attitude which promotes SVdP’s core values Ability to work with a diverse range of key stakeholders Personal aptitude for attention to detail and data accuracy Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society Ready to apply?
