Cockburn Care provides a vital service to the community, and we are currently recruiting for new super stars to join our team. About the Role This rewarding and varied role provides support and care to older people living within the City of Cockburn. This primarily includes domestic assistance, and can sometimes also include Shopping, personal care and social support. Successful applicants will be required to assist and implement developed person-centred support plans that identify client’s life goals and support clients to engage in community-based activities As a Support Worker you are required have a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. Mileage and travel time is reimbursed. What you’ll need Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling certificates (or willing to obtain) Knowledge of the Work, Health & Safety Act Be fully vaccinated consistent with WA Health Directives Be highly organized, flexible and reliable Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. Hours: Hours will be casual for the first three months with the possibility of Permanent Part-Time in the future. There are a range of hours and shifts available from Monday to Friday.
