The Opportunity: As a Forklift Driver you will be responsible for complying with the mobile plant site rules including daily Forklift Pre-start checklists and maintain machine line to ensure operations is not affected. You will hold a current valid Forklift License with at least 12 Months experience and be open to the opportunity to be trained and upskilled as a Machine Operator. You will be open to work across a day and night shift and also be flexible to work a rotating shift pattern. What the role involves: Loading and unloading of stock and putting stock away Forklift pre-start checklist daily Placing gluts onto packs to assist in the loading Splitting packs Sorting through damaged stocks High attention to details as you will be rearranging leaning stacks and auditing of stack height Ensure that quality standards are met in accordance with Product Specification Accurately record and maintain data on relevant reports/forms Collect relevant reject samples from production runs Manual handling of up to (20kgs) General housekeeping duties Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work What you will need: Hold a valid Driver’s License and own vehicle Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace Be open and willing to do manual labouring around the plant as required Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal & communication skills Manufacturing & warehouse background experience highly regarded All successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.
