About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Trade Assistant with forklift experience to join a busy manufacturing team. You will support tradespeople, operate machinery like cropper machines, and handle raw materials such as steel and metal. This is a temporary-to-permanent role based on performance. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain industrial machinery, including cropper machines. Use a forklift to move steel, metal, and other materials around the workshop. Assist tradespeople with assembly, fabrication, and production tasks. Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting materials up to 20 kg. Carry out general workshop duties such as cleaning, organizing, and equipment maintenance. Follow workplace safety standards and procedures. Requirements: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. NSW unrestricted driver’s license (essential). Current forklift license with hands-on experience. Experience with cropper machines or similar manufacturing equipment. Physically fit and able to lift up to 20 kg. Proven experience as a Trade Assistant or in a similar role. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
