Design & Engineering CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 150 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. The Opportunity CPP are seeking experienced Senior Design Drafters - Civil to join our collaborative, national in-house design team. If you're passionate about creating accurate, buildable civil designs for real-world infrastructure projects, this is your chance to make a meaningful and visible impact on Australia’s energy future. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, practical design drawings for high-voltage and renewable infrastructure projects across the country. You’ll work closely with civil engineers to interpret design concepts and transform them into constructible, compliant design packages. This is a hands-on drafting role where your attention to detail and technical expertise will directly influence the success of major energy projects. You’ll use software such as AutoCAD and 12D to deliver clear, well-structured documentation that supports construction teams on site. About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Extensive drafting experience (7 years) in civil design drafting, preferably in energy, infrastructure, mining, defence or utilities Proficiency in AutoCAD and 12D is essential Solid understanding of Australian civil design standards and best practices Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured documentation Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery Be rewarded at CPP.
