In this role, you will play a key part in safely and efficiently operating and maintaining production equipment to uphold high standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will have substantial technical expertise in a manufacturing environment, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a firm commitment to safety and quality protocols. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues within digital, screen-based automatic systems is essential. Key Responsibilities but not limited to are as follows: Provide electrical support to the site and effectively troubleshoot electrical faults. SAP – entering all completed tasks and booking our spare parts. Ensuring all work meets Engineering standards. 80% of PMs completed within the nominated timeframe. All work to be completed in line with food safety requirements. Ensure all electrical equipment is installed in compliance. Regular interaction with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, and Administration Teams. Responsible for engineering support to standards and expectations and that all relevant documentation relating to the areas of responsibility are maintained to present standards. Log and complete all work in the maintenance system as listed on the work schedule. Read pneumatic schematics and fault find safely and efficiently and make modifications as required. Weld all materials using Oxy, Tig, Mig. Investigate failures and provide recommendations for improvements to reduce the risk of occurrence. Shift work required. Work unsupervised on shift and make decisions to promote efficiency. To be successful in this role, you will have: 5 years’ experience working as Electrician in FMCG industry, preferably within Beverage Industry. Knowledge of PLC programming. Utilise CMMS (SAP). Welding Skills (TIG, MIG, Stick, Oxy). Industrial experience including fault finding and root cause analysis. Breakdown maintenance and diagnostic experience. Ability to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
