Warehouse / Storeperson – Brisbane, QLD CJD Equipment are seeking an experienced Warehouse / Storeperson to join ourBrisbane Branchat Acacia Ridge. Your daily tasks will see you assisting our busy Workshop / Parts departments in all aspects of warehousing and distribution of truck and construction machinery parts. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a long-standing national business servicing the transport and construction industries and to work with market-leading brands such as Volvo Construction Equipment and Kenworth and DAF Trucks. Daily responsibilities: Pick and pack customer orders for collection, delivery or dispatch Organise dispatch for both local and interstate freight Receiving incoming freight including stock orders, and receipting into inventory system Putting away incoming stock and assigning to pending customer orders Liaising with multiple courier companies and adhering to courier pick up deadlines Maintaining a clean and functional warehouse Your application will go to the top of our shortlist you have: Current drivers licence and forklift licence Strong commitment to health and safety Experience working in stores or warehousing, or alternatively workshops, within the heavy industries sector Top attention to detail and you’re pretty good with number crunching Loads of drive, energy, and autonomy, with a can-do attitude Charismatic personality, with the ability to get on well with your manager, team, customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels We know this goes without saying, but just in case you thought we forgot … pretty decent computing skills Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Test What’s in it for you?
