About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our well-regarded Dispute Resolution and Litigation team. Working alongside Partners Mark Henry and Angela Barac and the wider team, this role will provide support to lawyers working on matters across state and commonwealth government in areas of administrative law, Royal Commissions, dispute resolution, procurement and tendering, governance and statutory interpretation. In this role, you will be responsible for: Coordination of meetings and internal/external functions Opening and closing of matters including e-filing and physical archiving via Aderant Expert (billing) and iManage (document management) systems Time entry and preparation of monthly high volume billing Creating, drafting, editing, and formatting a range of legal correspondence and documents Reconciling expenses for authors on a monthly basis and All other general ad hoc administrative duties About you Ideally you will have: Previous administrative experience in a professional services environment Competent technical ability using Microsoft Office suite The ability to produce accurate, high-quality work within set timeframes A strong attention to detail A personable, collaborative, and friendly disposition.
