Job Description As an Interior Designer at Hassell, you’ll be an integral part of our design team, working on a diverse range of projects across workplace, commercial, hospitality OR education/health. You’ll collaborate with architects, strategists, and other designers to create thoughtful and innovative interior environments that enhance how people live, work, and connect. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Develop creative and functional interior design solutions aligned with project objectives and client needs. Work across all project stages, from concept design and space planning to documentation and delivery. Prepare detailed design presentations, including mood boards, sketches, material palettes, and 3D visualisations. Produce high-quality documentation, including detailed joinery drawings, schedules, and specifications. Contribute to design reviews, ensuring consistency and alignment with Hassell’s design ethos. Engage with clients, consultants, and suppliers to coordinate design intent and project outcomes. Support senior designers in project coordination, including budgets, timelines, and team communication. Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices. Qualifications Skills and Experience 3–5 years’ experience in interior design, in a design studio environment. Several years' experience working on commercial workplace projects is essential for success in this role. Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent. Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape (or other rendering tools) is essential. Strong conceptual design skills and attention to detail.
