It is ideal for a Second or Third Year Electrical Apprentice. You will gain valuable hands-on experience, working with skilled tradespeople to help you grow and gain valuable knowledge and experience within the industry. Job Details Precision Fire Protection Services has been successfully supplying and installing fire services throughout NSW since 1998. They have grown from strength to strength and are considered a leader in supplying, installing, and servicing Fire Services to the commercial, retail, industrial and residential markets. You will be mentored by industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework. Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Installation of automatic fire detection systems Installation of all aspects of Low Voltage (LV) cabling and cable support Maintenance of LV equipment in both mobile and workshop settings Benefits Full time 4-year contract including paid annual and personal leave Paid weekly Access to 1:1 mentoring The chance to learn from experienced tradespeople Opportunity to access Government subsidy payments of up to a total of $5000 for the first 2 years of your apprenticeship paid in 6 monthly instalments About You You must have excellent communication skills and be ready and willing to undertake physical work in indoor and outdoor settings. You will be willing to travel and not afraid of working at heights. In addition to these qualities, you will: Completed grade 12, with a high performance in mathematics Must have a White Card or willing to obtain upon commencement A manual driver’s licence would be an advantage Have a strong aptitude for detailed, technical tasks Be reliable, self-motivated and willing to learn Be committed to attending TAFE and passing all practical and theory-based training requirements of an apprenticeship Have the ability to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check Have excellent listening skills and able to follow instructions Work safely Apply
