My client, a well-known plumbing contractor operating across Victoria is seeking an intermediate Hydraulic Engineer to grow their existing team. The business is a Tier 1, D&C entity known for delivering high-profile commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects across Melbourne. You will be a highly motivated, experienced Hydraulic Engineer with a desire to work on major projects for renowned builders. Day to Day Duties: Design and oversee hydraulic systems including water supply, stormwater, and sewerage for large-scale projects Liaise with architects, builders, and subcontractors to ensure compliance and effective delivery Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and construction drawings Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phase Ensure all designs comply with Australian standards and Victorian regulations Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical with a hydraulics focus) Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hydraulic design and documentation Proficiency in Revit (desired) Strong understanding of NCC, AS/NZS standards, and local plumbing codes Excellent communication and project coordination skills Registered or eligible for registration with relevant engineering board If this sounds like you, please contact me directly for a more information and a confidential discussion.
