About the Role As a Business Administrator, you will be a vital support in ensuring seamless administrative and financial operations across multiple business units. Your role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including financial reconciliation, reporting, inventory management, procurement coordination, and maintaining company databases. You will play a key part in facilitating timely and accurate financial processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation. Additionally, you will contribute to IT asset management, supplier maintenance, and operational efficiency, helping to optimize workflows and drive business success. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting cross-functional teams in achieving their objectives. Key Responsibilities, Assist with financial reconciliation and administrative tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across business units. Prepare and distribute company reports—including financial, sales, and management data—with precision and timeliness. Oversee Shared Services purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and receipting for payment. Support inventory stocktake processes by preparing count sheets, collecting data, and generating inventory status reports. Manage the supplier maintenance database, handling requests, verification processes, and status updates. Manage the ordering, receipt, and inventory logging of IT hardware, ensuring timely procurement and accurate records. Track and manage IT assets, including hardware movement, software licenses, and warranty claims. Monitor office stationery supplies and arrange timely replenishment to support operational needs. Collaborate with finance and IT teams, provide assistance across various business functions as needed. About You You have a strong foundation in administrative principles and practices, with a basic understanding of accounting and IT procedures. You are highly computer literate, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate internal software programs, and you have intermediate proficiency in e-mail and internet applications, MS Word, and MS Excel. Your analytical thinking allows you to assess complex frameworks, prioritize information, and transform objectives into actionable outcomes. You excel at structuring and presenting information clearly to various audiences, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
