About the Role Reporting to the Head of the Research Institute, the Business Administrator will have the opportunity to support both the Research Institute and Client Services divisions. Success in this role requires a detail orientated, proactive approach, with a keen ability to think on your feet. To be successful in this role, you will be required to: Resource Planning & Efficiency: Contribute to overall tracking of department resourcing to ensure optimal of staff allocations of project management. Business Development Support: Assist the Business Development unit with tender preparation and development, as well as documenting proposal outcomes. Process Improvement & Issue Management: Document and track escalated issues and process enhancements are captured in detail, and are actioned Document & Record Management: Create and maintain internal document registers Meeting Coordination: Create meeting agendas, take minutes /actions, and keep stakeholders informed and follow-up on actions. Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly follow-up with internal stakeholders to ensure actions are completed. Business Reporting: Assist in the preparation of key business reports, including quarterly management reporting. About You You are a highly organised, detail orientated professional with a proactive approach and passion for improving processes. With 3-5 years of experience in Business Administration you have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. To excel in this role you will bring: Strong Project Management administration skills: ability to document, analyse and communicate information confidently. 3 Excellent attention to detail: a high level of quality checking practices to ensure reports and information are error free. Exceptional Time Management : proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Strong Communication Skills : including verbal, interpersonal and written skills Advanced Microsoft Office Skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Sharepoint and Planner A proactive, solutions focused mindset : a self-starter and actively seeks opportunities, proposes solutions, and thrives on continuous improvement. Outstanding Organisational Skills : ability to plan, perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and consistency of high-quality output.
